Most people don’t come to therapy because one thing went wrong; they come because something in their life, their relationships, or their sense of self has fallen out of rhythm. Whether I’m working with an individual navigating a major transition or a couple or family trying to feel connected again, my focus is the same: slow things down, understand the emotional patterns underneath, and create space where people feel most authentic.
I’ve been described as warm, collaborative, and appropriately humorous because sometimes a laugh is what makes the difficult stuff feel just a little more manageable. I’m not here to define you; I’m here to help you understand what’s happening internally and relationally so you can move forward with more clarity.
Before becoming a therapist, I studied, performed, and taught music, and it still shapes the way I connect with others. I pay attention to the emotional “notes” in the room—what’s spoken and what’s felt. I often integrate music into the therapeutic process, whether through reflection or helping clients express what words can’t quite reach. For many, music becomes another way to access their story and their healing.
I’m currently earning my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Park University. My work draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment Theory, and Narrative Therapy. I work through a systemic, LGBTQIA+ affirming lens, and I care deeply about supporting clients from marginalized communities and those who have been told, directly or indirectly, to quiet their voice.
Therapy with me is a place to reconnect with who you are and with the people who matter to you.
