Emily Lewis
Clinician in Training
she/her
Emily’s mission is to help people move toward relationships that feel aligned with their own definition of secure, safe, and authentic connection. She works with partners and families who feel stuck in painful cycles of miscommunication, disconnection, trauma responses, intimacy issues, and unresolved grief. “As a neurodiverse bisexual woman, I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that is affirming, respectful, and supportive of diverse identities, relationship structures, and family systems.”
Emily approaches therapy with openness, humility, and candor, using curiosity and creative expression to help clients slow down, explore their patterns, and begin building new ways of relating. “I aim to keep the process as organic and comfortable as possible, while still exploring and challenging the painful moments that may be preventing growth and connection. I will always lead with empathy, but I am committed to evolution, not a stagnant journey.” Her space is collaborative and open, where no topic is off limits.
Her work is systemic and relational, trauma-informed, sex-positive, and humanistic. “I understand that our struggles rarely occur in isolation. The way we relate to ourselves and others is shaped by the broader systems we live within and the relationships that have shaped us over time.” Emily sees clients as the experts of their own lives, an approach that helps reduce shame, increase compassion, and create meaningful, sustainable change. She doesn’t view conflict as a personal failing, but as a passage to connection and growth.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Denver and is currently seeking associate licensure and a Sex Therapy Certificate at Adler University, with a growing interest in Sex Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). “This is not just work to me; it is my life’s passion. I deeply honor the opportunity to work with you and the responsibility it holds.” In her spare time, she finds peace in yoga, cooking, drawing, painting, dancing, and sitting by the water.
